Terms and Conditions for Breastfeeding Mobile Application (MyBBuddy)
Thank you for using our breastfeeding mobile application, MyBBuddy. Before you proceed, we kindly request that you carefully review and agree to the following terms and conditions. By using the App, you indicate your acceptance of these terms and your consent to allow us to use the data you input for personal research purposes. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the App.

Age Requirement:
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By agreeing to these terms, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

Privacy and Data Collection:

  1. We understand the sensitivity of personal information and are committed to protecting your privacy. We will collect and process your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
  2. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that we may collect, store, and process personal data you provide, including but not limited to breastfeeding data, baby's age, feeding habits, and other related information.
  3. We will take reasonable measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your data. However, please be aware that no data transmission over the internet or storage method is 100% secure.

User Content:

  1. Users may upload images and other content to the App. You retain all your rights to any content you submit, post, or display on or through the App.
  2. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such content in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed).
  3. You agree that any content uploaded does not contain material that is subject to copyright or other proprietary rights, unless you have necessary permissions or rights.

Data Usage and Research:

  1. By using the App, you grant us permission to use the data you input for personal research purposes related to breastfeeding, lactation, and infant health. This includes but is not limited to analyzing the data, conducting statistical research, and developing insights to improve our App and services.
  2. Any research conducted will be in aggregate form, and all personally identifiable information will be anonymized or removed to protect your privacy.
  3. We may use the aggregated and anonymized data for academic, scientific, or commercial purposes, as long as it does not disclose your personal identity.

Ownership and Intellectual Property:

  1. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the App, including any intellectual property rights associated with it.
  2. You may use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You shall not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

Limitations of Liability:

  1. The App and the data provided therein are intended for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional for any specific health concerns.
  2. We shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of the App or the data it provides.
